The Jacob Hughes
Cyber Security Fellowship

“Because of my experience at Sisler, I started my career in IT and Information Security when I was 17 and have been in the field since. My success has pushed me to purchase my first house at the age of 21.”

Jacob Hughes, 1994-2024

Jacob Tristan Hughes was one of the first Cyber Academy alumnus when he graduated from Sisler in 2012. His hard work, dedication, and love for technology lead him to joining the cyber security services division of SRG Security Resource Group in 2016. Jacob was a core individual in the development of SRG’s detection and analysis technologies tasking a lead role in the development of the new SRG Cloud Security Platform. His contagious smile, love for gaming and cryptocurrency, and enthusiasm towards his work made him a joy to be around. Jake’s departure leaves such a void which can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to know him. We celebrate the life he lived and the impact he had on the hearts of so many. Read More
